Freeland noncommittal on expanding $250 rebate cheque, outlines rational for items chosen for GST pause

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland was noncommittal Friday, when asked about whether the federal government would consider expanding its proposed $250 rebate cheque. She also outlined the feds rational for choosing the items that will be included in the GST “tax holiday.”
