The Shoebox Project is a non-profit organization with chapters across Canada including here in Montreal. The organization collects and distributes shoeboxes filled with essentials, personal care products, and warm accessories for women in local shelters, impacted by homelessness. In the coming weeks you can donate a gift-filled shoebox at a local event supporting the mission and supporting local businesses at the same time. Vanessa Dubois, fundraising coordinator for The Shoebox Project Montreal Chapter, and Andrea Soueidan, creator of Sip n’ Shop Mtl, join Global News Morning’s host Laura Casella with details on how you can get involved.
