The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said on Tuesday that four suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with eight armed bank robberies across Ontario. According to findings from the investigation named ‘Project Opal,’ over $2 million has been stolen between December 2022 and March 2024. A fifth suspect remains at large.
