100% of Ontario medical school enrollments will go ‘to Canadian kids’: Doug Ford
Description
October 28, 2024
Referencing recent plans to ban international students from Ontario medical schools, Premier Doug Ford said in Sudbury, Ont., on Monday that it was “unacceptable” for 18 to 20 per cent of medical education seats to be given to students coming from abroad. “That's done. That's gone. That's not happening any longer,” Ford said. “100 per cent of these seats in Ontario are going to Canadian kids.”
