Speaking at the Prairie Green Landfill on Wednesday, Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew said the province’s search for the remains of at least two Indigenous women – Morgan Harris and Marcedes Myran – is on track, with excavation to start in December. In stage three of five, Kinew revealed that the province began a recruitment process late last month for technicians to help forensic anthropologists search the landfill, with offers to be put out shortly.
