Saturday was the last day to vote in the HRM municipal and CSAP elections. Election staff were up at 5 a.m. getting polling stations ready to welcome voters. Meanwhile, residents were eager to submit their votes in-person. And, Indigenous teenagers from around New Brunswick, and Quebec, gathered in Fredericton for a basketball workshop. But from coping with life to preparing for the North American Indigenous Games, organizers say it’s about more than shooting hoops.
