The Canada Revenue Agency provided a final update in its investigation into how many employees inappropriately applied for and received payments of the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) during the COVID-19 pandemic. As Sean Previl explains, those fired amount to more than half of those investigated in an internal review into how many accessed CERB while being employed by the agency which administered the benefit program.
