New Kirkland development cause for concern, say housing advocates

Construction has begun on one of the biggest real estate projects in the West Island. A 1,200-unit housing complex in Kirkland will include single family homes, town homes and condominiums. As Global’s Phil Carpenter reports, some people wonder how such a project can be justified in the midst of a housing affordability crisis.
