The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day for ceremony and reflection. But for many Indigenous groups and leaders, it’s also a day to press governments to fulfil their promises. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission set 76 calls to action that involved the federal government on everything from residential school research to child welfare to renewing treaty relationships.
