Yemen’s Houthis on Monday pledged to escalate military operations against Israel in response to deadly attacks, a day after an Israeli strike against Houthi targets killed five people and injured 57 according to the group’s spokesperson. The Pentagon said Israel notified but did not coordinate with the U.S. prior to the strikes in Yemen.
