Blanchet threatening to hold Trudeau ‘hostage’ on spending for Canada’s youth, advocate warns

Speaking on Ottawa on Thursday, Dr. Paul Kershaw, a professor at the University of British Columbia and founder of the youth advocacy group ‘Generation Squeeze’ warned that in his view, Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet intended to hold Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “hostage” when it came to spending on issues related to Canada’s youth in the federal budget.
