Iron 101: Pharmacist on health benefits, sources of mineral for body

Pharmacist and author Sherry Torkos joins The Morning Show hosts for a pop quiz on the health benefits of iron. “It’s one of those minerals that’s essential for growth development. Our body uses it to make hormones and it’s necessary to help carry oxygen through our body,” Torkos says. She adds that iron supplements such as FeraMAX can help bridge the gap if people aren’t getting enough iron in their diets.
