The International Day of Peace marked the end of a journey hundreds of kilometers long for one group of activists. Led by Mi’kmaw elders, participants from across the world came together to walk 200 km from Pugwash Nova Scotia to Halifax, united under a common goal – promoting peace. As Ella Macdonald reports, walkers are calling for Canada to de-colonize, de-carbonize, and de-militarize for the greater good.
