‘End of an era’: Liberal MP thanks Global Kingston, CKWS radio station for local journalism

Liberal MP Mark Gerretsen reflected on “the end of an era” for local television and radio in Kingston, Ont., in the House of Commons on Monday. Describing CKWS, Global Kingston and the local radio stations as “more than just news outlets” that have been “a trusted friend” as well as “a reliable source of information,” Gerretsen thanked everyone for their passion and commitment.
