‘Running out of homes’: Poilievre says Conservatives would cap population growth

The leader of the opposition Pierre Poilievre stated during a press conference on Wednesday that the Conservatives
— if they win the next election — would cap population growth so it doesn’t exceed the number of homes being built in Canada. “That’s not even a question of whether you support or not immigration. It’s a question of whether you support mathematics,” Poilievre said.
