African Nova Scotian community receives RCMP apology for historic use of street checks

On Saturday, the Nova Scotia RCMP issued a formal apology to African Nova Scotians and all people of African descent for the historic use of street checks and other harmful interactions. According to members of the community, the apology is a step in the right direction, but words are empty without action.
