Russ Walker was a longtime nurse at Edmonton’s Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital until a devastating glioblastoma diagnosis in 2022. After undergoing brain surgery, he became a patient and even rode in the hospital’s Courage Ride for Rehab. Sadly, the aggressive cancer claimed his life this year and as Nicole Stillger explains, he is being honoured for his resilience and courage.
