Global News had heard from dozens of women across Canada about the struggle to access care for endometriosis, several of whom are now or have south help outside of Canada. Jennifer Todd, 37, is a nurse from Kelowna, B.C., who had surgery to treat her endometriosis in Mexico earlier this year when she was faced with long wait times in Canada. Her story is part one of a three-part series on why women are choosing to leave their own country for medical help.
