Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew announced $774,000 worth of funding for Winnipeg’s Retail Theft Initiative on Thursday, committing further resources to helping cut down crime in the city. This comes after a local 7-Eleven in Winnipeg’s West End was robbed six times in one day last Saturday.
