Ontario is set to ban consumption and treatment services sites within 200 metres of schools and child care centres, which will lead to the closure of 10 facilities, Ontario health minister Sylvia Jones announced on Tuesday. She added that the province will invest $378 million to establish 19 new hubs that will focus on homelessness and addiction recovery treatment, rather than supervised drug consumption or needle exchanges.
