Kursk offensive: Putin says he’ll ‘punish the criminals’ as Russia bolsters border security

As Ukrainian troops actively seizes territory in the Kursk region, Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed retaliation. “The same way we achieved our goals in the fight against terrorism, we will achieve our goals in the fight against Neo-Nazism,” Putin said during a meeting in Beslan on Tuesday. “And we will certainly punish the criminals [Ukraine],” he added.
