Minister of National Defence Bill Blair and Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles highlighted the deepening of the Canadian-Australian defence relationship during a Thursday press conference. Blair touched on the pursuit of more joint sales, co-operative deployments and multilateral training as the two countries are “preparing to avoid war.”
