Speaking to media after arriving in Toronto following the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, Summer McIntosh, Canada’s 1st triple-gold medalist, said her incredible performance in Paris hasn’t “fully sunk in yet.” She added that winning a gold medal in the same event that her mother Jill Horstead won in 1984 was “pretty cool.”
