Mark Adams, a spokesperson for the International Olympic Committee, responded Thursday to Algerian boxer Imane Khelif’s controversial win at the Paris Summer Olympics after it was revealed she had previously failed a “testosterone test.” Adams said, “testosterone is not a perfect test,” adding the reminder that the controversy “involves real people.”
