The NDP is hoping that a byelection in Montreal next month will help jump start its fortunes in the province. The by-election was called over the weekend by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Phil Carpenter was with party leader Jagmeet Singh who was in the riding today campaigning alongside local candidate.
