A Calgary senior is sharing her story about how she was able to get out of the backcountry safely during the Jasper National Park fire. “I realized there was not a sound — no birds were singing, no animals,” said 71-year-old Jackie Bourgaize. “It was dead quiet.” Carolyn Kury de Castillo reports.
