The Quebec government has discreetly changed the way it deals with simple drug possession. In a move that some experts are calling “de facto decriminalization”, Quebec told crown prosecutors not to pursue charges for people caught with small amount of drugs except under specific circumstances. Also – Two weeks after a terrifying incident described as like a scene from Jaws, Jean-Doré Beach at Park Jean-Drapeau is operating as usual. That’s a total surprise for unsuspecting beachgoers and for the father of an eight year-old who was attacked there.
