Trump cements place at head of Republican Party

Two days after the attempt on former U.S. president Donald Trump’s life, he has cemented his spot at the head of the Republican Party. After being formally nominated as the party’s choice for presidential candidate at the Republican National Convention (RNC), Trump chose Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance as his running mate. Plus, Trump has scored a major legal victory after a judge dismissed the Department of Justice’s case against him for the mishandling of classified documents. Jackson Proskow reports.
