Advocate for Toronto’s homeless warns Mayor Chow ‘people will die’ unless the city takes action

Gaétan Héroux, an anti-poverty activist with the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty, spoke out on Monday, demanding Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow address the homeless crisis in the city. “People will die,” he said, demanding the city open armouries to house the homeless amid a dire lack of shelter space.
