Calgary to turn on additional water pump in hopes of easing outdoor water use restrictions

City of Calgary Infrastructure Services General Manager Michael Thompson said Monday that crews will be turning on an additional pump at the Bearspaw South Feeder Main in hopes of increasing the speed of the water flow. If successful, the city will move into its Stage 2 restrictions for allowing more outdoor water use.
