Frosty reception for Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre at first in-person appearance before Assembly of First Nations

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre faced backlash during his appearance at the Assembly of First Nations conference in Montreal. It was the federal opposition leader’s first in-person appearance at the annual gathering where he was invited to speak. As Global’s Phil Carpenter reports, some delegates feel Poilievre is ignorant of certain issues that are of pressing importance to Indigenous peoples.
