Wednesday’s heavy rainfall in Montreal overwhelmed the sewage system in some areas of the city and some people even had to swim to safety after buildings flooded. As Global’s Matilda Cerone reports, business owners in the borough of Saint-Laurent incurred serious financial losses and are worried their insurance won’t cover them.
