The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after police dashcam captured two jetliners appearing to narrowly avoid a collision in the skies above the Syracuse Hancock International Airport. It happened after air traffic control cleared an American Airlines plane to land as a Delta Airlines plane was taking off from the same runway.
