Modi tells Putin: War cannot solve Ukraine crisis, death of children ‘painful’

During the second day of visiting President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, Russia, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about efforts to find a peaceful solution to the war in Ukraine. He told Putin that a solution “cannot be found on the battlefield” and that the death of innocent children was “painful.”
