City of Calgary officials announced not only the easing of outdoor water restrictions during a press conference on Saturday, but the lifting of an ongoing fire ban. According to Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek, the move from stage 4 to stage 3 restrictions means outdoor taps can be used, to an extent, and “allowances have been made to have outdoor pools and spray parks up and running as soon as possible.”
