A dead humpback whale has washed up on the banks of the Stewiacke River. The whale was spotted a few days earlier – beached and struggling to swim. After a successful rescue mission, there was hope the whale would make its way back to the Bay of Fundy. But as Emma Convey reports, it wasn’t meant to be.
