NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh said in Toronto, Ont., on Thursday that he didn’t have enough of the details regarding what then-defence minister Harjit Sajjan “did or didn’t do” to help Sikhs in Afghanistan evacuate in 2021, but that the overall actions of the Liberal government at the time were a “massive failure.” Singh added that this meant “a lot of people’s lives are at risk and continue to be at risk.”
