WestJet’s unionized mechanics have withdrawn their strike notice as both the union and the airline resume negotiations. The decision came after WestJet appeared before the Canadian Industrial Relations Board to discuss the airline’s request for arbitration with the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Tech Ops employees.
