Peterborough Kawartha MPP Dave Smith presented Morello's Your Independent Grocer in Peterborough with the award for its support of supplying its customers with Ontario and locally-produced food. The Foodland Ontario Retailer Award recognizes retail managers and staff who create eye-catching displays to promote Ontario grown and in-season fruits and vegetables. This year the award will be presented to 60 grocery stores across Ontario.
