A Vancouver police Sergeant is riding his bike across the country to raise awareness and funds for “Cops for cancer.” Sgt. Dayne Campbell volunteered with the charity for 15 years — and raised over 140-thousand dollars during that time. But the recent cancer diagnosis of his daughter inspired him to take on this cross-country challenge. Campbell started in may, and arrived in Kingston today where he was joined by supporters. He aims to pedal the over 6-thousand kilometers — between Vancouver and Halifax — before the end of June.
