On Friday, firefighters in Portland, Ore., rescued roughly 30 people after a ride malfunctioned at Oaks Amusement Park. The ‘AtmosFEAR’ ride left riders hanging upside down for at least 25 minutes before rescue crews, in co-ordination with park engineers, manually lowered the ride.
