The first few weeks of June saw heavy traffic for much of the Halifax region, with several initiatives and maintenance projects underway within the municipality that are causing vehicle backups and delayed transit routes. Meanwhile, a powwow from St. Mary's First Nation is drawing crowds from around North America, with hundreds of dancers, vendors and viewers coming out for the weekend of festivities.
