Calgary water main break: 2 workers injured overnight as water consumption rising again

In a Thursday morning update on the city’s water crisis following a water main break last week, Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek said that repair work on the feeder main has been paused after two workers were taken to the hospital from injuries sustained overnight. “I have difficult news to share with you this morning,” Gondek said. “Two people were injured on site overnight. Both were taken to hospital and neither are in critical condition.
