Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, B.C. Minister of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness Bowinn Ma announced the province has created a new option for evacuated households to receive $200 per night for accommodation via E-transfer, as well as a new online self-service evacuation tool for support during a wildfire without having to go to reception centres.
