Calgary mayor praises residents for saving ’50 Olympic-sized’ pools worth of water amid cut downs

Despite commending locals for saving “50 Olympic-sized” pools worth of water on a daily basis – adding that the City is in a “pretty stable place” with Calgary’s water supply – Mayor Jyoti Gondek noted Wednesday that “we are not quite out of the woods yet,” urging citizens to continue reducing their water usage as repairs to a pipe that was damaged last week continue.
