Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft successfully launched on its third attempt to fly astronauts to space for the first time on Wednesday, a much-delayed testing milestone after last-minute issues have pushed back the first two crewed launch attempts. The CST-100 Starliner capsule, with two astronauts aboard, lifted off at 10:52 a.m. ET from a launch pad at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, strapped to an Atlas V rocket from Boeing-Lockheed Martin joint venture United Launch Alliance (ULA).
