1 year after worst wildfire in Nova Scotia history, community thanks heroic firefighters who responded to the call

It’s been more than a year since the largest wildfire in Nova Scotia’s history spread across Shelburne County. Firefighters from across the province, country and beyond all responded to the community’s call for help. Now, local residents are sending their thanks through a weekend of celebrations.
