Years after voting to ban the use of electric scooters in Toronto, tens of thousands are estimated to be in use in the city. Despite a push to approve them with the purpose of increasing regulations to crack down on poor behavior, council voted to uphold its decision to remain out of the province’s e-scooter pilot.
