Asked Tuesday when Canadians can expect to see the federally promised bill which would introduce capital gains tax changes, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said it will happen “in the coming weeks” and “certainly” before the House of Commons takes its summer break, less than five weeks from now.
