Advocates in Halifax are pushing for a community land trust to be established in the city’s ongoing Cogswell development. The land trust was proposed as a way for African Nova Scotian communities in the city’s north end to reclaim roots and equity in the project. As Vanessa Wright reports, the proposal was presented in front of council on Thursday.
